A well-established personal injury law firm serving clients throughout the Sacramento and Placer County region is looking for a Case Manager to join their team! The team is client-focused, fast-paced, and committed to delivering exceptional advocacy and compassionate support to individuals injured due to negligence.
Position Summary
The Case Manager will play a critical role in managing personal injury cases from intake through settlement. This position requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and hands-on experience working within a personal injury law firm environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a full caseload of personal injury matters from inception to resolution
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining regular communication and providing case updates
Coordinate medical treatment, including scheduling appointments and following up with providers
Request, review, and organize medical records, billing statements, and lien information
Communicate with insurance adjusters regarding claims, policy limits, and settlement negotiations
Draft demand packages and assist attorneys with case strategy and settlement preparation
Track deadlines, statute of limitations, and case milestones
Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files within the firm's case management system
Collaborate closely with attorneys, legal assistants, and support staff
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Case Manager in a personal injury law firm
Strong understanding of California personal injury procedures and insurance claims
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High level of organization and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment
Professional, empathetic demeanor when working with clients
Proficiency with legal case management software and Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications
Experience handling pre-litigation personal injury cases
Familiarity with Sacramento-area medical providers and insurance carriers
Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus, but not required
